Community Events & Campaigns

Throughout the year, HEG organises events and campaigns that bring the community together — celebrating local growing, sharing skills, and raising awareness of environmental issues affecting the Hendreds.

Past events have included the Hendred Grow Off, the Great Big Pumpkin Giveaway, and our Annual General Meeting, where volunteers and supporters come together to look back on the year and plan ahead. These events are often free, family-friendly, and rely entirely on volunteer organisation.

Whether it's helping to plan an event, setting up on the day, or simply turning up and joining in, community events are a great way to meet people involved in HEG's other projects and find out what's coming up next.
